The classic from Eaton now also with eBUILD from EPLAN
The EATON Wiring Manual has been an integral part of the education and professional life of anyone involved with electrical switchgear for decades.
It includes an extensive collection of detailed circuit diagrams for Eaton’s industrial switchgear. Many examples of applications of EATON equipment are presented in detail, allowing easy and quick application of the equipment. The reference to the relevant standards, daily required formula and tables complete the content.
Digital content is playing an increasingly important role today. Eaton have therefore decided to offer the first contents of the Wiring Manual in EPLAN under eBUILD. The first application they have implemented is a motor starter for a three-phase motor. For starting the motor a power contactor DIL is selected. The PKZ motor-protective circuit-breaker can also be selected for short-circuit and overload protection, or the ZB overload relay for separate overload protection. After selecting the desired devices the eBUILD macro generates the corresponding circuit diagram and the bill of material. The article links into the Data Portal are also added here.
