Rolf Hausheer to Retire From SCHURTER AG; Steffen Lindner Selected as New Managing Director

After more than 25 years at SCHURTER, the current Managing Director (MD) of SCHURTER AG, Rolf Hausheer, will retire at the end of 2024. Rolf Hausheer handed over the position of MD of SCHURTER AG to Steffen Lindner on 1 July 2024. Steffen Lindner is already acting as the General Manager & Vice President EMEA.

The career of Rolf Hausheer at SCHURTER began in April 1999 as the Head of Procurement. His strategic decisions and ability to build valuable supplier relationships significantly contributed to the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement. As of 2009, Rolf Hausheer was appointed to the management team, taking responsibility for Supply Chain Management, including Sourcing, Customer Service, and Warehouse. Since February 2024, Rolf Hausheer has been leading SCHURTER AG as MD ad interim. Despite the additional responsibility as MD, he retained leadership of Supply Chain Management and supported the strategic direction of the company as Co-Program Management Officer.

New Role Distribution

Since 1 July 2024, Steffen Lindner has assumed the role of MD of SCHURTER AG. He already manages the SCHURTER group company in Germany and oversees all company activities in EMEA, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Production. With his proven leadership skills and international experience, Steffen Lindner is ideally suited to achieve SCHURTER’s goals. Simultaneously, responsibility for Supply Chain Management has been handed over to Oswald Fiegl, the acting COO. Rolf Hausheer is now focusing on organizational projects within the company’s strategy, where he can effectively apply his extensive business experience.
