Banner Engineering: TL70 Pro Tower Light Series – Easily Integrate Customized Dynamic Indication Throughout a Facility

November 11, 2024

In addition to existing IO-Link models, the TL70 Pro Tower Light Series now brings fully customizable dynamic indication and communication to systems throughout a facility.

New Modbus RTU, Ethernet, and Power over Ethernet models enable easy integration into both new and existing systems. Its modular design easily scales from one to six segments—five multicolor light segments and an audible segment—to communicate information such as equipment status, call for action or parts, and full bin indication. Fourteen colors plus multiple animation and audible options combine to bring greater awareness and communicate more machine information to people working near equipment.

The TL70 Pro Tower Light is available in a variety of multiple communications options, including IO-Link that provides nearly limitless custom configuration; Modbus RTU that can be integrated into Banner’s Snap Signal ecosystem for easy equipment monitoring and status communication without a PLC; Ethernet communication via EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, or PROFINET that takes advantage of industrial Ethernet’s high bandwidth and scalability using separate data and power connections; and Power over Ethernet (PoE) which shares data and power over one cable connected to a PoE-equipped Ethernet switch. Combining many abilities into one customizable modular device simplifies setup and installation, in addition to ordering and inventory control.
