Kooltronic Client Test Data Program Re-Certified, Upgraded to ISO/IEC 17025 Standard

Kooltronic, Inc. has announced the renewal and upgrade of its Client Test Data Program Certification based on its recent audit with Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The UL Certificate of Participation verifies that the Kooltronic Client Test Data Program (CTDP) complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 in accordance with the UL Data Acceptance Program.

When asked about the significance of the recent UL re-certification of its CTDP, Bruce Kreeley, Director of Sales, Engineering, and Quality Assurance said, “This is a major achievement for Kooltronic. Presently, we are among the first in line of the 4,000+ companies to have achieved this status.” In fact, Kooltronic was the 65th company to achieve its original designation, which dates to the mid-1990s.

The Kooltronic Research and Development Facility has provided specialized analysis and testing services to the electronic cooling industry for over 65 years. Our onsite laboratory enables the Kooltronic Engineering team to conduct full development and performance testing of enclosure air conditioners, fans and blowers, heat exchangers, and custom-designed cooling solutions. Additionally, Kooltronic provides specialized environmental and safety testing of electrical enclosures to ensure successful system integration. Having a UL-certified CTDP allows Kooltronic to conveniently streamline the collection and submission of all relevant testing data to UL for approval on behalf of a customer.
