Schneider Electric and Allied Electronics & Automation Help Build a Better Control Cabinet

Allied Electronics & Automation and Schneider Electric have expanded the Build a Better Control Cabinet digital hub with the addition of three new tools.

Th new tools and information available on the Build a Better Control Cabinet digital hub include:

  • Access to an EZ Product Selection Tool that takes advantage of Allied’s millions of product datasheets and tens of thousands of 360-degree high-resolution product images to streamline the process of researching, identifying and purchasing industrial control panel components and other products.
     
  • Detailed technical guides from Allied and Schneider Electric on control panel design, machine control solutions and sensor selection.
     
  • An industrial control cabinet product map to help engineers and designers quickly and accurately identify the latest Schneider control panel technologies and capabilities available from Allied.

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400).
