Customizable Overcurrent Protection System from Phoenix Contact is UL Certified

September 28, 2021

Caparoc is the new individual modular system for overcurrent protection from Phoenix Contact. For international use, all marketable components of the product family are certified with the UL Listed, UL Recognized, and cUL Listed seals of approval. As a result, the products can also be used in North America without problems.

The customizable electronic circuit breaker system protects loads at 12 and 24 V DC. Caparoc is configured from power modules, circuit breakers, and potential distributor modules. It is designed for DIN rail installation via the CAPAROC current rails.

The solution consists of a wide range of individual modules and many combination options. The customizable circuit breaker system is completely compatible, technologically up-to-date with future updates, and always extendable at any time, even during operation.

The outstanding features of the system are its easy operation with tool-free assembly, uninterrupted installation, and transparent operating states. The modules can be easily snapped on even when assembled. The easy nominal current setting and the clear identification of connections and potentials ensure intuitive operation.

An online configurator helps users to put together the system they need. The personal order number makes it possible to reorder the solution time and again. Suitable digital services provide support starting with the 3D model through the marking all the way to the data sheet and Eplan.
