ASi-5/ASi-3 Gateway for PROFINET – Transfer Large Amounts of Data Quickly

Take advantage now of the extended possibilities of ASi-5. The latest development stage of the AS-Interface now allows larger data volumes to be transmitted at much faster speeds. You can also integrate a wide variety of IO-Link devices easily and cost-effectively – thanks to ASi profile cable with simple piercing technology and no topology restrictions.
To use ASi-5 slaves, all you need is a Bihl+Wiedemann ASi-5/ASi-3 gateway. This is now also available as a PROFINET version with 2 masters for all standard applications. You can thus implement larger applications with just one PROFINET node, thus saving further costs. An additional Ethernet interface enables convenient diagnostics and configuration.
Integrated OPC UA server
The new gateway extends Bihl+ range of ASi-5/ASi-3 gateways. All Bihl+Wiedemann ASi-5/ASi-3 gateways have an integrated OPC UA server. This enables smooth and direct data transfer from the field level to Industry 4.0 applications.
Existing gateways can easily be replaced
In ASi circuits without ASi-5 slaves, the new ASi-5/ASi-3 gateways function exactly as earlier Bihl+Wiedemann gateways because the ASi-3 part remains unchanged. Using our new gateways you can easily replace existing ASi-3 gateways.
