Pepperl+Fuchs: New Push Button Box with IO-Link

November 14, 2023

Simply connected, individually configured, reliably controlled—the new push button box can be connected easily and error-free to IO-Link networks via an M12 connector. No complex wiring is required. In addition to data storage during configuration, IO-Link enables the transmission of diagnostic data for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. The communication standard therefore ensures increased plant availability.

Additionally, IO-Link allows users to flexibly configure numerous colors, night and flashing modes: Five standard colors and three additional freely selectable colors from the RGB space are available for illuminating the push buttons. Moreover, four different flashing modes as well as the night mode with different brightness levels can be selected. Users can configure the push buttons to suit any application and set symbols such as arrows.

Further, the push button box offers a modern design with perfect visibility of the buttons. With its compact housing design of 123.2 x 40 x 35.6 mm, the push button box is particularly easy to integrate directly on the machine.

Highlights of the Push Button Box with IO-Link

  • Simple and error-free connection to an IO-Link network via M12 connector
  • Highly flexible: numerous colors as well as flashing and night mode adjustable
  • Compact housing for very simple integration directly on the machine
  • Modern design with perfect visibility of the push buttons
